I am a native of Walterboro South Carolina. I attended Walterboro High School, currently known as Colleton County High School, where I am currently assigned as the School Resource Officer. I started my law enforcement career with the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office in 1994 and currently I serve in the capacity as the School Resource Officer Supervisor. I am an active member in the Rock of Ages Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Walterboro where I serve on the Stewardess board, the Missionary board, and the Lay Council. I have a strong Christian faith and background. One of my favorite mottos is: “If God brings you to it, he will surely bring you through it.” I also believe that prayer changes things. When I prepare for my regular tour of duty I always reflect on the following passage of scripture “Wherefore take unto you the Whole Armour of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” (Ephesians 6:13) I am also the proud mother of one son, Legrier. “Train up a child in the way that he should go: And when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)
